Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester

As part of the £12million redevelopment of “The Point”, LV Power Solutions designed, built and installed the main LV Switchboard as well as a number of Split Lighting and Power Distribution Boards: all of which fully comply with Part L2.

Colemore Row, Birmingham

Colemore Row was a custom build unit required to allow for an auto change over system; Motorised Split Lighting and Power Boards were designed to allow 2 supplies to automatically change over to supply 1 split Lighting and Power board for mains generator changeover.

Light Cinema, UK wide

LV Power Solutions worked closely with the client to develop a standard design for the Light Cinema chain. The design consists of: bespoke metered Panel Boards, Split Lighting and Power Distribution Boards and fully metered Distribution Boards; entirely compliant with L2. In addition, to ensure the efficient conversion of the load current to useful work output, LV Power supplied and installed a Power Factor Correction unit.

Roehampton University, London

The multi-million-pound project involved the construction of student accommodation which now houses over 200 students in the grounds of the Grade II listed Devonshire House.
LV Power Solutions designed and installed the main 1600A form 4 type 6 Switchboard; complete with Split Lighting and Power Boards and Fully Metered Distribution Boards. All boards were pre-built with MCP and RCBO’s as per the client’s schedules.

Tattenhall, Cheshire

Tattenhall is a luxury retirement village offering a collection of 48 retirement apartments along with an array of facilities, including; bistros, shops, a spa and wellness centre.
LV Power Solutions designed, built and installed the main 2000A LV Switchboard for phase 1, 2 and 3. We also supplied; block Schneider Panel Boards complete with MID approved sub metering for individual tenant’s supply. The Tattenhall project was our first opportunity to supply our EMS which now monitors each fitted meter on an hourly basis and provides automatic billing information.

RedWeather Tower, UK

The team at LV Power Solutions designed, manufactured and installed the internal Switchboard for the DTCC floor at Redwither tower. This was a complex project and required us to supply a “No break” changeover, complete with UPS.
During the design stage of the main LV Switchboard, we had to ensure Seimens plc were able to control all outgoing devices for load shedding on mains failure as well as allowing access for data loggers to fully control and analyse information via an Eton foreseer, which is now being monitored in New York, US.

The Shard, London

The shard, London is Western Europe’s tallest building and is a dynamic symbol of London. During construction of the 800ft building, LV Power Solutions were required to design and custom build Schneider Panel Boards to fit within extremely restricted riser spaces. Each board was complete with outgoing sub metering to allow each tenant within the building to receive bespoke energy usage bills.

Formica, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Formica is the world’s largest manufacturer of High Pressure Laminate and commissioned LV Power Solutions to re design, manufacture and install replacement LV Switchboards within their main UK factory.
Our team designed the Switchboards to fully comply with current regulations whilst ensuring they fit within the original footprints. The Switchboards were designed for minimal shut down losses, initially estimated at £100,000 p/day so with this in mind, our engineers were able to strip out, install and re-connect in less than 48 hours.
